On October 17-18, the CALIMERO project held its General Assembly in Gothenburg, Sweden, hosted by our partner Essity!. Over these two productive days, partners from across the consortium gathered to discuss the latest advancements in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for bio-based industries.

During the first day, we reviewed progress across all work packages, exchanging ideas and innovations that will drive the project forward. The discussions were focused on how our research can contribute to shaping a more sustainable future through improved LCA methodologies and assessments tailored for bio-based systems.

Day two brought continued excitement as we mapped out plans for the upcoming months. Our discussions centered on the next steps to ensure that CALIMERO stays at the forefront of LCA innovation. In addition, we had the fantastic opportunity to visit our partner BIM Kemi’s facilities, where we witnessed first-hand their efforts in developing sustainable solutions.

This General Assembly was a crucial moment for the project, reinforcing our commitment to driving impactful change in bio-based industries. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue pushing the boundaries of sustainability together!
